Engage: annual learning and teaching conference

Our Annual Learning and Teaching Conference, Engage, is an opportunity to showcase and explore our learning, teaching and assessment-related activities to further enhance our student learning experience. It's open to all colleagues across the University. This year it will be taking place in Chelmsford on Tuesday 24 June - please save the date.

All staff and students are welcome to submit proposals for Engage 2025 - this year's theme is creativity.

Anglia Learning and Teaching’s annual learning and teaching conference Engage returns in 2025, continuing its new collaborative format that launched so successfully last year. This year, we also welcome students to be a full part of our community.

Engage is open to all colleagues across the University and the call for proposals is now open: if you are involved in learning, teaching and the student experience, and have a story to tell or an activity to facilitate, you can complete the online form to express your interest.

You can lead a session as a member of staff, as a student, or as a team of staff and students. The deadline is Friday 11 April 2025.

Engage 2025 has an open call for sessions, that follows our active and inclusive learning focus, and also models critical practice in the sector through a peer review process by our Advance HE Senior Fellows.

Sessions can be either 30-minute active workshops, or 5–10-minute short PechaKucha ‘inspirations’.

Engage 2025 promises to be a day of inspiration, connection, and creativity.

Register on Business World (the course ID is L&TC) to join us as we come together to celebrate excellence in learning and teaching at ARU.

We will be providing free coach transport from our Cambridge campus to Chelmsford for the event. Please contact [email protected] for further information.
