The Anglia Ruskin Fellowship Scheme (ARFS) is our Advance HE accredited professional recognition scheme which supports staff to gain Fellowship, which gives recognition for their teaching and supporting learning experience and practice.
ARFS is for ARU staff, post graduate researchers and certain collaborative partners, to support them to gain Advance HE Fellowship across all categories. These are Associate Fellowship (AFHEA), Fellowship (FHEA), Senior Fellowship (SFHEA) and Principal Fellowship (PFHEA). These are all aligned to the Professional Standards Framework (PSF) 2023.
ARFS is operated through a programme approach, where participants join a small number of workshops and support sessions over an approximately 3-month period, whilst developing their claim. This also includes working with a smaller group outside of the programme. All events are hosted online via Microsoft Teams which participants will receive invitations to. After the programme has ended, participants have the choice to submit during two submission windows.
Further details for ARU staff, including joining instructions, can be found on the Heron. For ARU collaborative partners who are interested in joining the scheme, please contact your teaching and learning lead.
