Register now for the 2021 Engage Learning and Teaching Conference

Published: 11 June 2021 at 11:35

Bookings are now open for Anglia Learning and Teaching's 2021 Engage Learning and Teaching Conference, which celebrates learning, teaching and assessment-related activities across our University. This year's conference takes place remotely on Tuesday 22 June.

You can book your place via email with the course ID L&TC.

You’ll be able to join in throughout the day, choosing from our plenaries, workshops, talks, and student panel. As a break from sessions you can relax in one of our ‘golden thread’ rooms, chatting to colleagues about some of the issues being raised around the conference and its themes.

Guest speaker Dr Jason Arday will be giving a keynote at this year’s conference, which will consider how we can move the dial forward with regards to anti-racism in higher education. He will consider four key themes: engagement and belonging, acknowledging and celebrating diversity, clarity and fairness in assessment, equality of access and social capital and equality of opportunity and employment. Find out more about Jason and his keynote.

Please read our Learning Curve blog post about this year’s emphasis on diversity and inclusion and its potential to inspire new ambitions and reinvigorate current good practice. Follow and get involved in the conversation on Twitter at #ARUengage. Everyone is welcome!
