Alexis Brown

Alexis Brown is Head of Global Insights at the British Council.

Prior to that, she was Director of Policy at HEPI, where she published on research security and overseas R&D investment, and a Policy Manager at the Russell Group, where she managed a portfolio of policy issues related to higher education and financial sustainability.

Originally from the USA, she holds a PhD in English literature from the University of Oxford.
