Nursing

You want to improve people’s lives. We’ve spent 25 years training nurses to do just that. We know real-life healthcare doesn’t happen in a classroom, so we work closely with the NHS to make your learning as authentic as possible. You’ll get hands-on experience in our mock hospital wards, and out on placement.

Here in the School of Nursing, we're looking forward to equipping you with the knowledge and skills you need to make a difference as a nurse.

If you thrive on the unexpected and want to make a difference in people’s lives, a career in a nursing setting could be for you. We offer Adult, Child, Mental Health and Nursing Associate degrees so you can specialise, and follow the path that's right for you. As a student here you'll benefit from outstanding nursing facilities, supportive staff and a great range of placement opportunities.

We're the largest provider in England for nursing, midwifery, and health & social care, and are shortlisted for the Nursing Times Pre-reg Provider of the Year award in 2023.
