T Level Agriculture

How to apply Come to an Open Day

Introduction

Gain the technical know-how and practical skills you need to work in the agricultural industry – and play your part in feeding a growing global population. Study on our 150-hectare rural campus at Writtle College.

Course highlights

  • Take part in hands-on learning outside of the classroom.
  • Develop your learning in an industry placement, giving you practical insights into the sector.
  • Choose between a Crop or Livestock pathway depending on your interests and future career aspirations.
  • Benefit from approximately 130 hectares of arable land, livestock, and a working farm on our countryside campus. You’ll have use of all these facilities as a student.

The world is facing a food crisis. We need to produce at least 50% more food to feed a rapidly growing population of 9 billion people by 2050. The agricultural industry needs people who can meet that challenge with fresh thinking and new approaches.

By studying agriculture at Writtle College, you could play an important role in developing the future of British and international farming.

Designed with employers, T Levels are two-year full-time courses that follow GCSEs. They include classroom-based study and an industry placement – and can help you get a head start in a career you're passionate about.
