The weights room at Vivacity Peterborough

ARU Peterborough students and staff can take advantage of discounted membership at Vivacity's leisure venues.

Students

Vivacity offer a V-City membership, which is a lower cost membership for people aged 16-22. There’s no contract and no joining fee, so you’re not tied in to anything

For £38 per month, a V-City membership at Vivacity Premier Fitness in Hampton gives you:

  • A newly refurbished gym with state-of-the-art cardio, strength and functional gym equipment
  • Exclusive EGYM equipment offering training guidance and motivation with measurable results
  • Complimentary fitness plans to help you achieve your individual goals
  • Over 200 fitness classes per week including Les Mills, yoga and studio cycling
  • A 25m pool for keeping fit, improving your swim technique or just relaxing
  • Sauna and steam room to soothe weary muscles
  • Free swimming at Peterborough Lido during the Lido season (this excludes weekends, bank holidays and the school summer holidays)
  • Use of the athletics track, next to ARU Peterborough, during our open track sessions on Wed and Thu afternoons
  • Access to other Vivacity gyms at Hampton and Bushfield Leisure Centres and open swimming sessions at Jack Hunt and Stanground pools
  • A 20% discount on indoor and outdoor sports facilities

We also offer a V-City membership at Hampton Leisure Centre for an even lower price (£29 per month). This excludes use of Vivacity Premier Fitness and Peterborough Lido, but the other benefits are the same.

Staff

ARU Peterborough staff are entitled to a Corporate membership at Vivacity Premier Fitness, which is £49 per month. A Corporate membership will give you the same benefits that are listed above.
