Shorter opportunities to study, work or volunteer abroad

At ARU, our undergraduate students have the opportunity to take part in short-term work, volunteering and study abroad opportunities.

These are usually extracurricular, often course-specific, activities and a great way to:

  • develop your confidence
  • develop transferable skills and improve your employment prospects
  • experience new cultures
  • learn a foreign language.

Currently, our students can choose from programmes in destinations such as Fiji, Bali, India, Taiwan, Thailand, Ecuador, Cambodia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Australia, Japan, The Bahamas, Mexico, and many European countries.

If you're already studying at ARU, you can see the full list of opportunities, as well as information on funding and how to apply, on MyARU.

If you have any questions about these opportunities, please email [email protected].
