Going abroad for part of your degree course doesn't have to be expensive.
For living and other expenses, a number of options are available to ARU students.
Although funding to support your time abroad cannot be guaranteed, we have been successful in obtaining Government grants through the Turing Scheme. These help students to offset some of the costs involved, such as travel and living expenses.
For more information, visit our funding page on MyARU.
Each year Butex awards a number of scholarships to undergraduate students studying abroad for a semester or a whole academic year, and students undertaking a summer school programme, overseas work/internship/traineeship placement of varying lengths of time.
For more information, see the Butex website.
Taking part in an international programme does not affect your entitlement to continue receiving your Tuition Fee or Maintenance Loans from Student Finance England. For more information please visit our funding page on MyARU.
