StoryLab is an interdisciplinary research institute that explores immersive storytelling to enable diverse voices and perspectives. We champion purposeful and powerful storytelling that examines narrative, form and function.
We combine traditional storytelling methods with emerging formats and creative technologies such as XR (VR, AR, MR), 360 film, soundscapes, 3D data visualisation to create powerful experiences to affect change. As a Lab we focus on speculative, participatory and agile design to create highly relevant responses to the real world environment.
Our creative practice research focusses on key areas of interest that align with the following UN Sustainable Development Goals: Identity, Culture & Heritage, Health & Wellbeing, and Sustainable & Resilient Communities.
