Our men’s volleyball team have been very successful over recent years winning multiple cup and league trophies. They compete in both British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) and, in partnership with Cambridge Volleyball Club, national league competition. In 2019/20 the BUCS team won 6 and lost 5 to finish 2nd in their division of tier 2. The Cambridge Volleyball Club and Anglia Ruskin University national league team had a 9:4 overall record and also finished as runners-up in division 1.

Our women’s team competes in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS). They finished top of Midlands Tier 2 and won the Conference Cup in 2019 and reached the semi-finals of the Trophy in 2020 and were 5th in Tier 1 when the season was cancelled. Our athletes can also compete in the National League with our composite team, Cambridge Volleyball Club and Anglia Ruskin University which competes in the Super League.

“Anglia Ruskin University has been a highlight in my life and in my volleyball career. It is highly professional and keeps improving every year. I would highly recommend this programme.”
