As a senior lecturer practitioner, Verity has a significant amount of industry experience. She has spent 15 years working in the Sports Development sector, working with a number of key partners, as well as delivering community and school coaching. She is a level 2 hockey coach, is also qualified to coach cricket and basketball, and is experienced in delivering leadership courses.

Background

Verity first joined ARU in 2014, working for Team ARU and also Corporate Marketing. Before this she worked for a local authority within a Sports Development and Leisure team.

Her specialisms and interests lie in the development of sport across the UK, especially grassroots sports, sport development initiatives within the community, as well as applied sports coaching.
