Senay is a qualified dispensing optician and optometrist. She is interested in the processing of information in the visual system.
Senay is a senior lecturer in our Department of Vision and Hearing Sciences. She trained in ophthalmic dispensing and optometry in Berlin, Germany.
In 2012, Senay joined ARU after completing her PhD in the Department of Life Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University. She teaches on our ophthalmic dispensing and optometry courses, mainly on the dispensing aspects of the profession. She is also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
