Sarah is an experienced primary school teacher with a wide range of leadership experience across schools and within a Multi Academy Trust. Sarah is now working as a Senior Lecturer Practitioner at ARU and is the Year 6 Strategy School Improvement Lead in a Multi Academy Trust.

Background

With over 20 years’ experience as a primary teacher, Sarah has also been a member of senior leadership teams in a range of schools across Essex. As a Senior Leader of Education, she developed her mentoring and coaching skills and supported teachers by leading staff professional development and supporting them with lesson planning, delivery and assessment. Sarah also worked closely with school leaders to help them develop their curriculum and improve standards, especially in English.

Most recently, Sarah has worked as a Deputy Headteacher responsible for leading English across the school, developing the curriculum and as a Designated Safeguarding Lead.
