Richard is a Senior Research Fellow in ARU's Centre of Excellence for Equity in Uniformed Public Services (CEEUPS).
Richard’s research focuses on working with academic and public sector partners to co-develop/co-produce evidence-based approaches to support real world organisational change and improvement. Highlights include working on Project Soteria-Bluestone, a large multi-institutional research project co-producing improvement in rape and serious sexual offence (RASSO) investigations with policing partners across England and Wales.
Prior to joining academia, Richard was privileged to have served as a police officer in a large UK police service in local, national and international roles and with multiple public and private sector partners.
