Dr Phillipa Towlson-Mulbregt

Phillipa is Head of Operations and Administration in the Faculty of Business and Law. Her areas of expertise are operational and administrative delivery, leadership and management. She has responsibility for a diverse range of teams, ensuring effective delivery of operational and administrative functions in support of the Faculty strategy and stakeholder expectations.

Background

Phillipa leads cultural and systems change and ensures the delivery of a flexible, responsive, efficient and high quality administrative support platform. She demonstrates success in driving performance improvement through the development, implementation and management of appropriate financial and structural systems and processes to support business delivery and high quality customer service.

She is currently responsible for the performance, management and delivery of operational and administrative functions in a department of circa 40 staff, having built effective teams to achieve continuously improving outcomes for key stakeholders.

• PhD Microbiology (University of Birmingham 1992)
• BSc Hons 2:1 Microbiology and Biotechnology (Portsmouth Polytechnic 1988)
