Octavia is an experienced teacher with expertise in teaching English and mentoring teachers within schools. She is a Senior Lecturer Practitioner, working part-time with ARU, delivering the Bed (Hons) Primary Education with QTS and Mentoring for Initial Teaching Training courses.

Background

Octavia’s teaching career began in 2009; since then, she has taught English in a range of London secondary schools following her PGCE in English with Drama at UCL’s Institute of Education. Octavia has extensive experience in mentoring trainee and Early Career Teachers, as well as coaching more experienced colleagues.
