Natalie is an experienced primary educator with extensive experience in teaching and leading learning across the primary age range. She has led and developed a number of curriculum areas and enjoys sharing her expertise in her role as mentor and Senior Lecturer Practitioner.

Background

Natalie is a Senior Lecturer Practitioner in Education and an experienced primary school teacher who has been teaching in schools in London and Essex for 20 years. She has taught across the primary age range, having taught every year group from Reception to Year 6. She has specialised in leading English across Key Stage 2 and held a number of leadership roles, including Year Group Lead, Phase Lead and NQT Lead Mentor. Recently, in her role as Data Curriculum and Policy Lead for the London Borough of Newham, she wrote a paper on enriching and embedding data literacy and data skills in the curriculum from Early Years to Key Stage 4. She is currently a year 2 class teacher, member of the Non-Core Subject Leadership Team, Apprentice Teacher Mentor and Senior Mental Health Lead.

Natalie has worked closely and built a strong network with a vast number of educational professionals, including head teachers, education advisors and education specialists and continues to actively practice in school, working with other educational practitioners.
