Monika is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Vision and Eye Research Institute (VERI). Her research focuses on cognitive impairment, visual short-term memory, and the development of sensitive cognitive assessment tools for the early detection of cognitive decline.

Background

Monika is a cognitive neuroscientist and researcher specialising in cognitive ageing, visual short-term memory and the early detection of cognitive decline. Her research interests include developing accessible cognitive assessment tools and understanding how visual short-term memory and eye movements change with ageing. She is particularly interested in translating cognitive neuroscience research into clinically meaningful applications.
