Masoud is a Senior Lecturer Practitioner in electronics and mechatronics, who also supervises projects. He has expertise in hardware and software design, prototyping and manufacturing, wireless communication (Wi-Fi, Zigbee, GSM/GPRS, Bluetooth and LORA), analogue and digital electronics, mechatronics and robotics, and programming.

Background

As a hardware/software engineer, Masoud has designed, developed and manufactured products for industry. He's keen to teach students about the latest technology available on the international market for product development.

Masoud has been involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses at ARU in Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough – as well as delivering ARU modules at universities in China.

Masoud's current research interests include designing and developing wireless products, and the Internet of Things.
