Magdalena is a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance and Module Leader for Performance Management, Financial Sustainability and The Professional Accountant.
Magdalena has five years' financial project management experience. With a background in accounting and management information systems, Magdalena is particularly interested in practice-based research around entrepreneurship and small business management. Her research aims to help small business managers identify the performance measurement practices that drive their growth.
Magdalena’s main research interest focuses on how high-tech small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) measure performance and how that affects their organisational performance. However, Magdalena is continuously expanding her research interests to reflect changes in practice. Currently, she is looking at sustainability and how it can create opportunities for businesses.
