Louise has a background in project management and in training and coaching project managers in industry. She has taught all levels and ages from undergraduate to postgraduate. She has research interests in teaching International students and in particular students from China and projects related to ‘smart cities’. Louise originally gained a medical degree before switching to a career in IT.
,Louise joined Anglia Ruskin University in 2015. She switched to academia after a career in Project Management during which she was a coach and then trainer to Project Managers in industry. Louise is a qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner
Louise moved to Higher Education in 2006 as a visiting lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University. In 2010 she taught adults to degree level Project Management, eCommerce, Database Application, Interpersonal Skills and Research Methods at the University of Sheffield. She then moved to the University of Bedfordshire as a Senior Tutor developing and delivering teaching to undergraduate and post-graduate students in Project Management and related disciplines. Here Louise developed “practice based” activities in the field of Project Management for Practice Weeks and supervised post-graduate dissertation projects.
