Kathryn is an experienced Senior Lecturer Practitioner in Law at ARU Peterborough, with nearly two decades of teaching and leadership experience in Higher Education. Kathryn teaches and leads across a variety of law modules and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning (Higher Education) as well as Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).

Kathryn has extensive experience working with high-performing teams in the education sector and has a strong interest in supporting non-traditional students in their transition to higher education. She also has a wealth of experience in academic administration and student support. Kathryn led the implementation of the Personal Development Tutor programme at ARU Peterborough and ARU College before that.
Kathryn is passionate about widening access to higher education and the legal profession. Kathryn joined ARU Peterborough from the Senior Leadership Team at ARU College, where she successfully led high-performing teams across learning and teaching, and academic administration. She is a member of the Society of Legal Scholars and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Kathryn has a particular interest in cohabitation and relationships that are significantly unsupported by legislation. Outside of academia, Kathryn is an avid reader, a mother, a keen gardener, and an allotment holder.
