Jude is a practising midwife lecturer with a special interest in resilience and Reflective practice, training, and education of the midwifery workforce, is a PROMPT Obstetric emergencies & Human Factors trainer. Jude is a Professional Midwifery Advocate (PMA) with experience in facilitating Restorative Clinical Supervision (RCS).

Background

Having trained as a midwife at Anglia Ruskin in 2007 Jude went on to practice in both the Obstetric led maternity services and within the community. Following her passion for Midwifery Jude went on to be the student support midwife at her local hospital, this role enabled her to combine her love of midwifery with her interest in the practice education of student midwives. After four years in the role of Practice Development Midwife Jude joined the Midwifery faculty at ARU where she now teaches full-time. Jude is also a qualified Professional Midwifery Advocate & NIPE practitioner.
