Jill's expertise is in policing education, student and staff coaching for academic success, mentoring, degree apprenticeships and leadership and management skills development.

Jill has extensive experience of the degree apprenticeship agenda and implementation, particularly in the area of policing and leadership & management. She is familiar with ESFA funding rules, levy expenditure and curriculum design.
Jill also acts as an Educational & Leadership Coach, and a consultant, and is author of Coaching and Mentoring in Higher Education: A Step-by-Step Guide to Exemplary Practice plus other academic papers on evidence-based impact of coaching. Former Head of Mentoring & Coaching Unit at the University of Hertfordshire, she now supports other institutions in developing coaching and mentoring provision in the context of student/staff retention, employability and academic attainment.
