Jennifer is a software development and testing expert who excels in simplifying complex technology. An experienced generalist, with a wide breadth of knowledge and ability to support both students and colleagues across a variety of computing and technological subjects.

Background

Jennifer has a 10-year background in software development and testing with local industry, working across a variety of different technologies from digital radio to websites, mobile apps, and artificial intelligence, and working with teams based around the world.

Having a keen interest in making technology understandable and accessible to everyone and a growing reputation for being able to translate development speak to plain language, Jennifer transitioned into Higher Education teaching to put the skills to use for a wider audience and encourage students to find new avenues and interests in technology.

Outside of her career, she is also a gamer at heart with a growing collection of boardgames, video games and tabletop RPGs.
