Jan’s role at ARU is about keeping Anglia Ruskin University as a key player in digital and creative sectors by working closely with technology startups/SMEs and larger enterprises, connecting industry to ARU academics.
Before joining ARU, Jan worked his way up the cluster development and start-up ladder as an entrepreneur. He is founder and CEO of the sports software start-up company - Suunto Software Solutions. Since then, he has worked on over 300 IT Startups in different roles, and 150 development and research projects. He has built a company from scratch, and developed many more.
Although he has worked across a range of digital technology industries, he has particular experience working with early stage technology companies and wearables, sports software, digital games, health and finance to name a few sectors.
