Hyerhim joined ARU in January 2022. She was awarded her PhD in Hospitality Management at University of Surrey in 2020 and has worked as a lecturer in Business and Management at the University of Essex. Prior to academia, she had 8 years industry experience having held positions at Richmond Group and Swatchgroup as a marketer.
Hyerhim's research interests have focused on consumers behaviours/attitude changes and emotional reactions. Within this area, she is specifically interested in how digital technologies influence the way people perceive, process and evaluate branded messages and how to secure the influence of advertising design on users' visual attention and the consequent effects of attention on psychological outcomes, especially in sustainable marketing.
