Gemma is a General Practice Nurse with a wide range of experience in the community setting. She has a particular interest in supporting students in the clinical and academic setting.

Background

Gemma was a previous student at the university. When she qualified, she went into Community Nursing and then decided to go into General Practice Nursing. After being in this role for a few years Gemma decided to join the team and become a lecturer to support students to understand the importance of linking clinical practice skills and academic knowledge to become successful healthcare professionals.
