Background

Before joining Anglia Ruskin University, as a lead policy developer for the Nutrition and Dietetics department, Gargi developed and implemented essential policies to achieve departmental objectives. Engaging with regional and national policymakers (NNNG), Gargi crafted internal policies and provided expert guidance and ensured strategic development and best practice benchmarking.

As a Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist in nutrition for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Gargi implemented standardised evidence-based practices across the three sites and led trust-wide training programmes for new nutrition devices and provided advanced nursing care and advice. Gargi collaborated with senior practitioners to align with the Trust Nursing Strategy and improve nursing practices. Gargi’s innovative approach identified areas for enhancing patient care and cost efficiency. Gargi worked with commissioning groups, managed contracts, and promoted seamless nutrition support services across the three sites.
