Fiona is a cognitive scientist with an enthusiasm for combining multiple approaches (artificial neural networks, brain imaging, and cognitive testing) to explore the relationship between the brain and cognition.
Fiona joined Anglia Ruskin as a Senior Lecturer in 2012. Prior to this she worked in London for 8 years as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow. During this time she worked with Professor Michael Thomas at Birkbeck, and then with Professor Cathy Price, at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Imaging Neuroscience UCL. Fiona has a strong interest in structural and functional MRI, and the use of neuro-computational models to explore the relationship between the brain and cognitive function.
