Fang Fang has over 25 years' experience of teaching, research and management in UK universities, with a strong focus on computing subjects and international collaboration.

Background

Fang Fang received his PhD in computer science in 1992, having received his BSc (Hons) in computing and MPhil in computer science. His teaching experience covers a range of computing subjects.

He has extensive experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, quality assurance and enhancement, and management of academic teams and programmes. He has also developed and managed for many years a range of large-scale international partnership programmes, studied by thousands of students in more than 15 countries worldwide.

Fang Fang has regularly served on validation and review panels for academic programmes delivered at universities in the UK and overseas.

  • Intelligent diagnostic feedback on student assessment using neural nets

Areas of research supervision

Fang Fang has successfully supervised a number of PhD students in computing subject areas, as well as serving as an external examiner for PhD examinations at UK universities.

He's published in international conferences and journals for over 25 years, and has regularly served on international conferences as a chair or member of programme committees.
