Donna is an experienced teacher with expertise in primary assessment. She is a Senior Lecturer Practitioner, working part-time with ARU delivering the BEd Primary Education with QTS and part-time as a class teacher in a London borough primary school.

Background

With 18 years’ experience, Donna has taught all year groups from EYFS to Year 6 in a variety of schools across Essex and London. Donna has held different leadership roles including English lead and Head of School at a small village school. She has also mentored and worked alongside new teachers.

Born in Malta, Donna began her career teaching English as a Foreign Language and is passionate about promoting global citizenship and intercultural education. Having worked as an eTwinning ambassador with the British Council, she has extensive experience in setting up and working on collaborative online projects with European schools.
