Claire is a practising midwife and lecturer who has worked in both community and high risk obstetric settings. She has a particular interest in home births, antenatal education and elective caesarean sections.

Background

Claire qualified as a midwife in 2015 and since then has worked in both community and obstetric settings. After spending some years in a hospital obstetric environment, primarily based on labour ward, Claire moved to working with a community team known for facilitating home births. After several years in the community, Claire then moved to the elective section team. She currently continues to work in her local NHS Trust and as a lecturer practitioner at ARU.
