The Erasmus+ programme is a great way for you to study at one of our partner universities in Europe as part of your degree course.
(Under the Withdrawal Agreement negotiated with the EU, the UK will continue to participate fully in the current Erasmus+ programme. ARU has successfully bid to participate in Erasmus+ until the end of May 2023.)
You can study abroad for one trimester (or up to one year for PhD students).
You don't need to be fluent in another language to study abroad, as all of the modules included in the programme are taught and assessed in English. The credits you gain at our partner universities will be recognised towards your Anglia Ruskin degree and your grades will be converted (with an approved learning agreement).
While you're studying abroad, you'll continue to pay your tuition fees to ARU and can receive a grant to offset some of the costs involved, such as travel expenses and the cost of living overseas. The grant is intended to be a contribution towards the additional costs of studying abroad and will not cover all expenses.
For more information on the Erasmus+ grant, please visit our funding page.
ARU Global has exchange partnerships with a number of European universities.
Please note that opportunities to study in Europe will continue for 2022-23.
