If you want to study in the UK for a full year and are a non-EU student you'll need to obtain a Tier 4 student visa.
If you're coming to study for one semester and are a non-EU student you will be on a student Short Term Study visa which doesn't allow you to work while here.
If you're an EU student starting in September 2020, you won't need a visa to enter the UK. From January 2021, new immigration rules are scheduled to be introduced by the UK Government which are likely to affect EU students. As soon as the details are confirmed we will provide further guidance on our Brexit information page.
