Students from non-exchange partners

Happy students

Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life!

Spend time studying in the UK with Anglia Ruskin University, at one of our beautiful campuses. You can apply if you've completed at least one year of a degree course at your home university.

With a vast number of subjects to choose from (over 250!), we guarantee you'll find something you love in a country you'll never forget. Request a prospectus.

Contact [email protected] to request application materials.

Please note that for some subjects you'll need to have had prior study and credits, but we're here to advise you throughout the application process. If you're not sure about anything please email [email protected].

Making your application

Application deadlines for our Study Abroad programme are:

  • Trimester 1 (September-December): 31 May
  • Trimester 2 (January-May): 31 October

Interested students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible (before the above deadlines) to ensure they have suitable time to apply for accommodation.

Before applying, check our modules on our course pages.

If you choose a specific course, look at the 'Teaching and Assessment' section and it will state the modules and module descriptions for that course.

If you are unable to find specific modules, please email [email protected] to enquire.

If you would like to study abroad for one trimester or one year at ARU, please email [email protected] and we will send you all of the required application materials.

Visa information

If you want to study in the UK for a full year, you'll need to obtain a student visa.

If you're coming to study for one trimester you'll be on a standard visitor visa or enter the UK as a visitor, which doesn't allow you to work while here.
