John Ranken has been running courses on the Environment and Climate Change in the University of the Third Age, Cambridge over the past 15 years. In the last year he has been in dialogue with Royal Dutch Shell on the issue of Shell as a Leader in Reducing Supply and Demand for Fossil Fuels.
In this Global Sustainability Institute lunchtime seminar he will speak about his experience of working with "big oil" in order to try and address our reliance on fossil fuels.
