I thought it might be a good idea to share with you what ARU’s Dramatherapy building looks like at the moment so that you can get a feel for the measures being taken to keep us all safe. This way, if you join us this September you'll know what to expect.

We go in for face-to-face teaching for four hours per week at the moment, and we have the rest online. Going in and seeing my peers is such a wonderful part of my week and it does feel like a safe place to be when we follow the measures put in place for us.

So pop on your mask and come on in!

It’s one way so be sure to take the main door, you’ll be able to use the sanitiser provided to give your hands a once over when you’re in there…

Try not to hang around too long, but you can say hello to your friends and fill up your water bottle before heading into our main teaching space…

When you get in there grab a chair and it’ll be yours for the whole 4 hour period! Pop it on one of the crosses marked out for you…

When the class is finished, wipe down your chair with the wipes provided and pop it back where you found it. Follow the one way system and meet your friends outside for a chat!

You can hang around here and have a (socially distanced) coffee and head home to continue with your afternoon of lectures.

I hope that gives you a sense of what our department looks like at the moment, it still feels to me like a welcoming and safe place to study. Just remember to take care of yourself and those around you and we will get through this together!
