Published: 25 February 2021 at 09:53

A new book about active and collaborative learning has been published, stemming from Anglia Learning & Teaching’s Active Learning Conference.

Innovations in Active Learning in Higher Education is available now for all to read free of charge via open access and was edited by AL&T’s Simon Pratt-Adams, Uwe Richter and Mark Warnes. Chapters highlight the distinctiveness and value of Active Learning approaches, including SCALE-UP, flipped classroom and game-based learning.

In addition to chapters from a host of colleagues at ARU, the book features a diverse range of UK institutions, including project partners Nottingham Trent University and the University of Bradford, along with De Montfort University, University College London, the University of Bedfordshire, the University of Sussex, and the University of Akureyri in Iceland.
