ARU Peterborough new development

We're proud to be involved in establishing ARU Peterborough – a brand new university for the city.

The first building to be completed was University House, a teaching building which opened its doors to students in September 2022.

That was followed by the Peterborough Innovation and Research Centre in early 2024. The Centres houses the eXtended Reality Peterborough (XRP) facility.

Construction of a second teaching building at ARU Peterborough is underway, on the site of the former Regional Pool car park. This building, which opens to students in September 2024, includes specialist biomedical sciences and engineering facilities, and more teaching space for all courses. It also features a Living Lab space.

The Living Lab is a publicly accessible, interactive science facility and education space which will have the flexibility to host a variety of events, exhibitions, education opportunities with local schools, and immersive displays.
