Anglia Ruskin University is currently developing a new Business Innovation Centre for medical and advanced engineering on the new Harlow Science Park, in Essex.

This centre will expand on our current Innovation Centre portfolio, which includes The MedBIC Business Innovation Centre in Chelmsford.

The new Harlow Innovation Centre will bring together all of the essential components of the innovation process to provide an innovation space that drives business growth in the following sectors:

  • advanced technologies (including medical devices)
  • advanced manufacturing
  • engineering (including additive manufacturing)
  • health (including ageing, vision, systems and workforce).

The Innovation Centre is part of our MedTech Campus concept and is a partnership between us, Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), Essex County Council and Harlow District Council. It will be project managed by ARU’s Research and Innovation Development Office (RIDO). The centre is currently in development with building completion due in spring 2019.
