Supported by our expert, experienced staff, you'll explore the key issues affecting the police service in our rapidly changing society, developing expertise in using new forms of technology, evidence-based policing and innovation.
You’ll also enhance your problem-solving, communication, negotiation, leadership and research skills.
Our International Policing and Public Protection Research Institute works on cutting-edge research projects, exploring the latest debates in policing and you’ll be able to attend high profile guest lectures by experts and serving officers.
Whether you want to study for a degree on campus before entering the police force, combine work as a police officer and study with our degree apprenticeship or degree holder entry routes, or advance your existing career in the police with a postgraduate qualification, you'll graduate ready to make a difference.
We're proud to be working with eight police forces across the East and South East of England and London to recruit and educate new police officers through two new entry routes into policing – the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) and Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP).
