Want to talk to someone?

Do you have a question that we haven't answered so far? Talk to our application experts. You can also ask our Student Ambassadors about life at ARU.

We're here Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm (please note we close at 3.30pm on the first and third Thursday of the month for staff training), and Friday 9am-4.30pm.

Here at Essex's first School of Medicine, we're looking forward to training you to become the best doctor you can be. You'll benefit from an innovative, student-centred and community-based curriculum.

You'll train in our purpose-built, cutting-edge facilities, learning from experienced consultants, surgeons, nurses and GPs, as well as visiting clinicians from NHS Trusts.

You'll put your new skills into practice with placements throughout your course. You'll gain experience in a variety of settings, so you'll graduate with a well-rounded skillset and a strong sense of where you'd like to take your medical career next.
