You’re ready to commit to a journey that could see you practising modern medicine into the next half of the 21st century. We offer comprehensive training that includes placements in primary care, mental health, acute care and specialist units. On campus, you'll be studying in our new, purpose-built School of Medicine. Take a look at our undergraduate Medicine degree.
Here at Essex's first School of Medicine, we're looking forward to training you to become the best doctor you can be. You'll benefit from an innovative, student-centred and community-based curriculum.
You'll train in our purpose-built, cutting-edge facilities, learning from experienced consultants, surgeons, nurses and GPs, as well as visiting clinicians from NHS Trusts.
You'll put your new skills into practice with placements throughout your course. You'll gain experience in a variety of settings, so you'll graduate with a well-rounded skillset and a strong sense of where you'd like to take your medical career next.
Let our students Ellie and Albion guide you through a typical week in the School of Medicine.
