We're here Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm (please note we close at 3.30pm on the first and third Thursday of the month for staff training), and Friday 9am-4.30pm.
Health and medical science is an incredibly broad field, and there are lots of career paths you could follow. At ARU, we've got a course to fit your ambitions.
You might be interested in frontline healthcare. If that's the case, you can train as a paramedic, operating department practitioner or counsellor – or, at postgraduate level, a physician associate, mental health professional or surgical practitioner. Or perhaps it's healthcare management that interests you, in which case our MSc or MBA courses can help you fine-tune your leadership skills.
Alternatively, you can choose to focus on medical, biomedical or pharmaceutical science – developing your skills through hands-on research and lab experimentation.
As a student at ARU, you'll join one of two faculties. The Faculty of Science and Engineering trains biomedical scientists in our state-of-the-art Science Centre. Meanwhile, our Faculty of Health, Education, Medicine and Social Care has been training healthcare professionals for more than 25 years, so you know you're in good hands.
Our learning spaces at ARU include:
