Learn how to select, evaluate and justify the use of various research methodologies and methods, in preparation for your major project.
This module is taken by students on a variety of Masters courses. You'll usually learn alongside a group of students who bring different academic and/or professional interests to their study.
The teaching and learning strategies we use on this module take into account the features of postgraduate study, including independent and self-directed learning, interdisciplinary discussion and exploration of themes and issues, and the ability to synthesise and transfer knowledge across specialisms. You'll be expected to complete some reading to prepare for each session.
