This one-day course teaches a practical approach to using ultrasound in regional anaesthesia.
It's suitable for both novice users and those with some experience of using ultrasound who wish to enhance their skills. Also ideal for those accustomed to nerve stimulator techniques wishing to add ultrasound to their repertoire.
The number of places is limited to 24 to allow plenty of time for practical skills.
We have support from several companies providing a range of ultrasound machines, needles and other equipment for use during the course.
The course is facilitated by consultant anaesthetists from Broomfield Hospital.
Course Director: Dr Ravindran Nair, Consultant Anaesthetic, Broomfield Hospital, and Dr Dinesh Das, Anaesthetic Registrar, Broomfield Hospital.
