Are you a qualified nurse or nursing associate who is brand new to Practice Nursing, or have been working in General Practice for less than a year? Our course will give you the fundamental skills to provide safe, effective and evidence-based care for your patients.
You'll be a qualified nurse, who is new to General Practice or has been employed there for less than a year.
You'll be a registered nursing associate, working in General Practice and have a suitable mentor in that practice.
Please note: this module has a practice component; you'll need to be working in a GP practice and have an experienced practice nurse to act as a mentor, who will support you in meeting the competencies in the practice portfolio you will submit for assessment.
Please note: in addition to the study dates below, you'll be required to attend two consecutive days for the Cervical Screening workshop, dates to be confirmed by the tutor. The dates below are a mixture of face-to-face days and online sessions. Further details will be available upon enrolment.
Please note: timetables are still to be confirmed and therefore dates may be subject to change.
