Overview
During this four-hour course you will gain an understanding of the correct procedures and safe working practices for using a chainsaw and manual log splitting at home.
Who should attend?
This course is suitable for people with log burners and/or large gardens who may need to use a chainsaw occasionally. Anyone intending to use a chainsaw professionally should look at our NPTC courses.

Entry requirements
We are governed by Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations therefore candidates will not be allowed to start the course without the correct PPE personal protective equipment. We strongly recommend you also wear a high-visibility vest.
