Teaching and modules

Develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to become a confident data scientist, whatever your previous academic background.

You'll begin by building strong foundations through Analytical Techniques and Programming with Python, before progressing to Principles of Data Mining and Machine Learning, where you'll develop predictive models and extract meaningful insights from real-world data.

In Applied Data Analysis and Research Methodology, you'll learn to analyse complex datasets using industry-standard tools and apply robust research methods to data-driven investigations.

The course culminates in the Data Analytics Major Project, where you'll independently apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the programme to solve a real-world problem in a domain of your choice.
